Preprocess Hooks in template.php - uses and examples

Preprocess hooks are one of the hidden gems of D7, providing even more control at the theme/presentation level, and all with a very small amount of easy php coding. If you're a desiger/themer and you know your CSS, preprocess hooks are a quick and excellent addition to your Drupal tool belt.
